Michigan Tech University offering new course on geospatial data mining

The Michigan Technological University is offering an innovative new course on geospatial data mining for the fall 2014 semester.  “SU5050: Data Mining” will be a hybrid class, mixing on campus and distance-learning instruction.  The course is targeted for the Integrated Geospatial Technology graduate students however, any other majors and non-degree seekers are welcome to enroll as well. The course will provide an overview of current techniques, including theory and applications of data mining and big data for geospatial techniques.
