The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and ASPRS Western Great Lakes Region are co-hosting a “geospatial confluence” of GIS, remote sensing, and photogrammetric professionals on Friday, April 17th on the UWEC campus. Registration for the event is open, and organizers are also looking for presenters. The registration deadline has been extended to Thursday April 9th. 2nd Annual Geospatial Curling and Networking Event

Geospatial professionals, get your four person teams together for a night of networking, curling and all-around fun! If you’ve never curled before this is a great opportunity to give it a try. Just bring and a pair of athletic shoes and comfortable clothing. Curling is played on the ice so cool weather layering is a good idea- it’s fairly cool in the ice arena but you will get warm playing!
