This workshop is to display and demonstrate new remote sensing technologies for forest habitat resource management. This is part of the ongoing ‘Spotlight Series’ on remote sensing technologies held by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) though out the Western Great Lakes area.  This workshop is in collaboration with the Canadian Remote Sensing Society, the Geospatial Information Technology Association, and the Canadian Consulate Office to promote remote sensing technologies. Additional support comes from a 2017 USFS grant to the Minnesota Department of Forest Resources, Resource Assessment program which is covering the conference room and lunch expenses.
